Our Newsletter of February 2014 – The Brilliant Idea of Hyundai’s Global Brand Campaign

Hyundai’s creative agency, Innocean, was looking to bring to life its global brand campaign “Live Brilliant” with fresh creative expressions that show that a car can create special experiences beyond transportation. We challenged the eYeka community to tell us an original, unique and engaging story where people have a brilliant, memorable experience with a car. Creators could submit either print ads or videos, and in 5 weeks, we received 233 entries from 43 countries.

The winning print ad, designed by an Italian creator nicknamed Oceanomare, talks about “personal mobile inspiration” and depicts a man sitting in his Hyundai, stopping by a majestic tree who decides to draw a tree house on the car window to complement it. This idea inspired Innocean to create a series of ads which are currently running globally in airline and railway magazines as well as global publications such as The Economist. Each print ad states: “This ad was inspired by ideas that consumers shared for the Hyundai co-creation contest at eYeka.
