The January 7 events in Paris have been a shock for all of us. As a creative community, we believe in the values of freedom of speech, self-expression, tolerance and openness to other cultures, and we couldn’t be more revolted by what happened that day. A spontaneous wave of support has emerged with thousands across the world, and has crystallized with the « Je Suis Charlie » logo and the #JeSuisCharlie hashtag. We want to contribute to this global effort and we have decided to host a dedicated contest. All the accepted submissions will be shared with Charlie Hebdo.
As eYeka, we want to express our deepest sympathies to the victims and to their families. This tragedy also makes us realize the value of freedom of speech, and to stand up. eYeka’s mission is to enable individuals to contribute by expressing their creativity, so as a team we have decided to launch today a « Je Suis Charlie » contest on eYeka. The eYeka homepage and social media properties also show the “Je Suis Charlie” message today.

Should you desire to creatively express your sympathy to Charlie Hebdo and your resolve to stand for freedom of speech, we welcome your participation. We will send your images to Charlie Hebdo to show them your support. We will also review all of them as a team and publish our preferred ones in a dedicated post on social networks.
May creativity help us create a better world together.
