Standing tall amongst the giants – eYeka at the Marketing Magazine’s AOTY awards 2017

Every year, Marketing Magazine recognizes and celebrates the very best and most effective advertising, digital and market research agencies with the Agency of the Year (AOTY) awards. It’s a glamorous night filled with free-flowing alcohol, delicious food and most importantly the talented people who represent diverse agencies with various capabilities. It’s a fun-filled night for everyone to let their hair down, network and be recognized for their contributions to the industry.

eYeka’s small but mighty team was present in full force at the AOTY awards to cheer on as the evening saw agencies being awarded for their disruptive work and difference created in the marketplace. There were multiple categories up for grabs, content marketing, production, B2B, brand consultancy…

This year marked the beginning of a new category under AOTY awards, dubbed ‘Specialist Agency of the Year’. The perfect category and opportunity for eYeka to be recognized as a crowdsourcing agency which specializes in delivering fresh and disruptive ideas by tapping into the collective power of the crowd. In addition to this category, eYeka also entered the ‘Integrated Marketing Agency of the Year’ category. eYeka’s community which has diverse skills is able to answer to various brand needs such as communication, innovation, packaging, shopper marketing, content .

eYeka’s disruptive model and unique approach bore fruit – eYeka was a finalist in both the categories, Specialist and Integrated Marketing Agency of the Year, categories that traditionally have been dominated by the heavy weights of the advertising and marketing industry.

eYeka is a young, agile company but in this short time, has completely changed the way brands can create disruption in the market by co-creating with consumers world-wide. It has brought freshness into product categories which have been rigidly defined by best practices.

This is not just an achievement for eYeka’s team but also the 380,000+ creative community members from all over the world who are always up for a challenge and have submitted more than 120,000 creative ideas for 1100+ contests so far. It’s only upwards and onwards from here!
