Last week, eYeka released the new edition of The State of Crowdsourcing, which tracks the evolution of creative crowdsourcing across vendors and FMCG companies. In conclusion, 2016 witnessed an accelerated pace of change as crosourcing enters the “Age of Ideation”.
And, for the third successive year, P&G is leading the way among FMCG companies, to smartly leverage creative consumers as part of Learning Plans & upstream exploratory creative development with CMK, Marketing and PRT teams.
In 2016, eYeka’s community has helped solve 41 challenges for 19 P&G brands, across the P&G teams in Cincinnati, Geneva, Singapore, Panama & Guangzhou to generate 3,850 creative ideas from insights, to benefit visualizations, to packaging design, to video content.
“We ran the eYeka contest in the hopes of sparking at least one good idea from our insight. Two weeks later, we had so many good ideas that we couldn’t narrow them down, and ended up selecting more winners for the contest! These ideas have been used to catalyze good work from our creative agency and have been held up as amazing creative by our Brand Franchise Leader.”Benjamin Blaweiss,
Global CMK Manager, Senso
“It’s great to see that teams have been leveraging crowdsourcing and the eYeka community. In just two weeks, multiple relevant visualizations are created inspired by the community brief. This has helped inspire infographics, benefit visualizations, and Surprisingly Obvious early communication.”Sion Agami,
Research Fellow, Fem Care & Global Digital PR SiT Leader
“Thank you for helping with such strong pool of ideas. We did go through them, and felt amazed with the quality and quantity of the output.”Vincent Zhong,
ABM, GC Tide Regional Delivery
On behalf of eYeka and our community, we’d like to thank P&G for another year of interesting projects, partnership, and an innovative spirit to try new tools. Together with creative consumers from over 170 countries, we are trying to crack old & new marketing and communications challenges in a disruptive way.
We wish you another great year of creative crowdsourcing! To learn more about how P&G is leading the way, check out “The Age of Ideation: The State of Crowdsourcing in 2017”.
